A Segway personal transporter from Ninebot transforms into a robot. In addition to providing personal transportation, the robot platform is capable of other applications, including navigating complex environments and interacting with people and a home’s sensors. Developers are expected to create new applications for the transporter’s open platform, which includes an Intel RealSense ZR300 camera and an Intel Atom processor, as it evolves.
